Great opportunity in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs to join a growing Financial Planning practice which is adjoined to a Mortgage Broking, Accounting and Property firm. This is a position that will allow you to take over a portfolio of clients from an existing Planner who is staying with the firm but moving interstate.
This medium sized business with over 12 employees, provides holistic advice that is based on the needs and objectives of its clients. This includes advice pertaining to investments, structures, estate planning and risk management, superannuation, gearing and meeting lifestyle goals.

Unlike most financial planning firms, this business is part of a larger firm that can provide excellent client referrals, all you need to do is close the deal!
The role/Opportunity:
Take over and manager a book of existing clients Work hand in hand with the business owner to build stronger relationships with existing clients Fee for service advice, not commissions No need to chase new business clients externally, focus on up-selling existing clients onto a full comprehensive advice services.
The ideal applicant will:
Have a minimum of 12-18 months experience in a Financial Planner role Have experience in both simple and complex strategies Minimum of DFP is essential and a Degree is highly regarded Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets predominantly through existing client Ability to deliver to strict deadlines and meet compliance obligations Have a passion for the planning industry, client relationship management and provision of quality tailored advice
This opportunity offers a base salary and an excellent bonus structure. You should expect to make no less than $100,000 in your first year. All ongoing trails are rolled over every year so this really is an excellent opportunity
