A highly reputable and leading financial services company consisting of a team of Mortgage Brokers and Financial Planners, with an exciting opportunity available for a new financial planner to join the Melbourne team to provide holistic advice to clients.
Job Description Reporting directly to the Directors you will be required to follow up the leads that are provided to you from the mortgage brokers, meet with clients and assist them to identify and plan for their financial goals by providing suitable strategies, access to products and ongoing support. You will also be provided with a book of existing clients who need to be reviewed
The successful candidate will have complete paraplanning and administrative support.
The job requires keeping up-to-date about developments in financial products, tax laws and strategies for personal financial management, particularly with respect to insurance and SMSF.
The Successful Applicant will have: A proven track record in providing financial advice for a minimum of 12 months Minimum DFP (1-4) qualified or equivalent (RG146). SMSF Accreditation (via an ASICs Approved Course) will be highly regarded
Candidates with no past experience as a Financial Planner, need not apply.
