This organization is a highly reputable and leading financial services institution and currently an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and qualified senior financial planner to join St Kilda Road team to provide face-to-face holistic advice
Unlike most financial planning businesses, this firm has established strategic referral partners in place. These referral partners are typically accounting businesses or general insurers who have signed contracts in place to provide the financial planners with access to their client base
Your role will be responsible for the provision of holistic advice to a broad range of clients including retirement & investment planning, wealth creation, income streams, gearing, taxation, estate planning, superannuation, roll-overs, personal insurance and much more. You will develop and sustain long-term relationships and ensure your advice is fully compliant with all legislative and AFSL requirements. You will be assigned a portfolio of clients to the value of approximately $100,000 in reoccurring revenue and be allocated a dedicated referral partner to work with. Leveraging the organisations strong customer relationships, consistent product performance and their enabling support structure, you will enjoy significant earning potential in this role. Your Practice Manager is highly approachable, the team is solid and high performing & there is a great culture.
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
· Minimum 2 – 3 years experience providing face-to-face financial advice to clients
· Completed Diploma of Financial Services qualification (DFP) – ideally ADFS qualified (minimum DFP 1-6)
· Focused on due diligence and compliance
· Excellent technical knowledge
· Strong communication skills
· Team player
· Motivated and passionate about financial planning
